Spectrum Glass have the ability to laminate many different single glass products together using layers of EVA (ethylene vinyl-acetate) film, whether it be annealed, toughened, tinted or patterned. We can also laminate specialist coloured interlayers or even add decorative products such as materials or wooden veneers between the glass. The EVA is UV and moisture stable and is suited for external use.

If a client requires a toughened tinted glass with a low u value and an internal safety laminated glass as well this would have meant a special product to be manufactured by the glass manufacturer, normally with long lead times and very high costs for small production runs. Spectrum Glass can laminate the toughened tinted glass to a toughened low e glass and incorporate that into a sealed unit with the safety laminate.
Decoration is an additional product that can be attributed the laminating process. From metal mesh to wooden veneers or even lace, Spectrum glass can add any number of finishes to the interlayers of our EVA laminates.
